NUSA LEMBONGAN INFORMATION

Most visitors to NUSA LEMBONGAN come for the quiet beach or the surf that breaks on the reef, and they stay around the beach at Jungut Batu. The reef protects the beach, a perfect crescent of white sand with clear blue water, and there are superb views across the water to Gunung Agung on mainland Bali. There’s also good snorkeling on the reef, with some spots accessible from the beach. To reach other snorkeling spots you need to charter a boat, which costs about 100000 rupiah per hour.

There’s jetty – the boats usually beach at the village of Jungut batu and you have to jump off into the shallows. Your boat captain might be able to leave you at the north-eastern end of the beach where most of the bungalows are, but otherwise you’ll have to walk a km to reach them.

Surfing here is best in the dry season, May to September when the winds come from the south-east. There are three main breaks on the reef, all aptly named. Off the beach where the bungalows are is Ship-Wreck, a right- hand reef break named for the remains of a wreck which is clearly visible from the shore. To the south-west of this is Lacerations, a fast hollow right which breaks over shallow coral – did you bring a helmet? Further south-west again is playground, an undemanding left-hander.

You can paddle out to Shipwreck, but for the other two it’s better to hire a boat. Prices are negotiable depending on time and numbers, but it’s about 50.000 to100.000 rp (rupiah) to be taken out and back, with an hour’s surfing in between. Strangely the surf can be crowded even when the island isn’t as charter boats often bring groups of surfers for day trips from the mainland.

HOW TO GET NUSA LEMBONGAN

Today is very easy to get NUSA LEMBONGAN from Sanur Bali. There are many fast boat or speed boat which operated between Bali and Nusa Lembongan. We recommend Scoot Fast Cruise as the leader fast boat operator to Nusa Lembongan. Scoot fast has four time schedule from Sanur to NUSA LEMBONGAN. Before heading to the island, we will visit the Lombok tropical forest to see the friendly monkeys. You can give some food to them. The next drive about 25 minutes to reach Bangsal harbor. We will use the private boat to Gili Air, spent your time with swimming and snorkeling to see the beautiful life under the water. At 03:30 PM we will go back to Bangsal harbor and the program continued to Malimbu beach, another wonderful beach in Lombok. You can see the real white sandy beach and Lombok view from this area.

THIRD DAY

We will join to Sasak and Kuta Tour Program to see the real life the people in Lombok. The trip start at 08:00 AM and drive around one and half hours to reach kuta area. We stop at Sengkol to see Lombok traditional houses. The next program is to see the beautiful of Kuta beach and Tanjung Aan, spent your time for relaxe here. On the way back to hotel you can ask to your guide to stop at Sukarara to buy some Lombok souvenirs. We will arrive in Mataram at 06:00 PM and continued with Dinner at Tifa restaurant. The program will be ended at 08:30 PM.

FOURTH DAY

Check out from earlier to visit hidden city in Lombok through city tour program. You will visit Narmada Garden, Mayura Palace and Pura Lingsar. You and your family will meet with our staff in Lombok airport who is waiting for your arrival. Our guide will give detailing information for your holiday program in Lombok Island. The next program is lunch and then visit some of historic places in Lombok. Our guide will accompany you to visit Lingsar Tempel, Narmada Garden, Mayura Palace and others. This program will be ended at 04:00 PM and than drive back to Senggigi for checking in. At 07:00 PM you will be picked up and bring to the famous restaurant in Lombok for dinner. The monkeys here are friendly and you can give food like banana to their hands directly. Around 30 minutes drive we will arrive at Bangsal harbour where you will go by private boat to Gili Air. You can spend the time on Gili Air with swimming and seeing beautiful life under the water like fishes and corals. At 03:30 PM we will back to Bangsal harbour and drive back to hotel. Drive to Gunungsari traditional morning market of Lendang Bajur, and then stop at Pusuk preservation and monkey forest. Senaru village is one of start points to trek to Mount Rinjani. On the way back you will see a beautiful and the biggest waterfalls of Sendang Gile in the foot of Mount Rinjani. ABOUT JEEVA KLUI RESORT

Jeeva Klui’s total 27 suites include 18 one and two-story beach front suites, six two-story garden suites and partial ocean view and three pool villas. All rooms have a private terrace with an oversized outdoor day bed and are equipped with either 32 or 40 inch flat screen televisions. All suites are a spacious 54 m2 although the layouts of the suites vary with the type of suite. WiFi is available in the public areas and in the pool suites.

Jeeva Klui works with local guides and small businesses to arrange bicycle and driving tours around Lombok as well as day trips to the Gili Islands. Jeeva Klui manages a private 53 hectare forest conservation reserve in East Lombok near Tanjung Ringgit. Tanjung Ringgit is renowned for high ocean cliffs and pristine deserted beaches. Picnic day trips to the reserve area can be arranged at Jeeva Klui. There are no bathroom facilities, running water, or electricity in the reserve area. Jeeva Klui is currently developing plans to begin offering basic over night facilities in the reserve area in mid 2011.

The Warung
The Warung – a neighborhood open air restaurant – is a feature of Indonesian daily life. The Waroeng at Jeeva Klui is just that, a relaxed open air restaurant and the center of daily life at Jeeva Klui. Located on the oceanfront verandah and overlooking the swimming pool, the beach and the ocean beyond, Waroeng’s open air style and casual dining attitude reflects shades of an Indonesian eatery of days gone by. Open throughout the day, guests are invited to enjoy a selection of Western and Asian dishes at the Waroeng long table, under the Banyan tree on the outdoor dining verandah, or on their own private terrace. Waroeng offers a limited room service menu for late night dining.

Wallace
Wallace is a casual air-conditioned library and lounging space where you can sit and relax over a cup of coffee and enjoy a dessert or some tapas. The perfect setting to laze and enjoy a peaceful moment exploring the library of novels, catalogue of DVDs available for in room viewing, leafing through reference books on the history, art and culture of Indonesia. Take a moment to surf the web and check your email – if you must – on the resort’s computer, play a board game with friends or enjoy an after dinner drink in the evening.

Swimming pool
The swimming pool is located in the center of the resort near Waroeng and measures nearly 25 meters in length. Soak up the sun on the timber deck, cool off in the ocean or take a dip in the pool, it’s all just a few steps away.

Boutique
Lombok has a rich tradition of arts and crafts. A new boutique shop is being built along with the expansion of the resort and will be opening in mid June. A limited selection of handicrafts including jewelry and textiles, as well as a variety of convenience items, is available in the reception area.
