Bangsal

Bangsal is a port located in the northern part of Lombok regency, about 45 minutes drive from Senggigi. Bangsal Port is usually used as an alternative crossing that is usually used by local people to visit Gili Islands (Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air).  

Bangsal first glance does not look like the port in general, the article Bangsal simply is a small beach with a building administrator or ticket seller, with some seats to wait for the boat would not leave until it has enough passengers of 20 people. Although ticket prices in Bangsal are fairly cheap, we do not recommend you use a transport service from Bangsal, especially for foreign tourists, The reason you need a considerable time to get there is if you use a taxi to come to the port then you will only get in between the small terminal which is located approximately 200 meters from the port, then you can proceed with using Cidomo (Horse Carriage) or on foot. In addition, traditional boats used do not ensure the safety and comfort of your journey as there will be a lot of stuff that will be transferred to Gili like LPG Gas, Food, Water, and a variety of other basic needs, the time required is also fairly long relative sea about 30 minutes drive, beware when you got out of the car then there will be many traders who will interfere with you by offering their merchandise, you do not get fooled.
